Gag Grouper

The most common fish we'll encounter is a Gag Grouper

Red Grouper

A beautiful fish, tends not grow as large as the gag but the same strength
and fight once on line. |
Trolling
From November through April, given the conditions are right on the water (little
or no floating grasses), trolling is an exciting way to catch grouper. Using deep
diving fishing plugs and pulling them behind the boat at a slow speed, we can
cover a lot of territory and find more areas where those grouper are hiding.

Bottom Fishing
Bottom fishing gives you the opportunity to stop on top of a structure (rock
pile, wreck) and find the fish where they live. By using a 6 foot rod matched
with the right reel, you’ll be amazed how hard these fish hit. I’ll
give you some tips on how to make the rod work for you.
